Creation of the Story
Wandawillie was inspired by a visiting kangaroo to my home town.
I am not and was never into witches but love fairy tales. As the rhyme evolved I was able to accept this strange calling to write as there is religious significance to monk’s salt.
That became very apparent as I was reading one of my books to a young girl. She was going through a very traumatic time in her life. Special prayer and a little bag of salt was all she needed to grow into a healthy young lady.
Synopsis
Colorful illustrations lead the reader through the whimsical story of a kangaroo, Yorky, kitty, and parrot who live with a princess. A special gold bag takes them on an adventure where persistence and creativity teaches anything is possible, especially when a witch with an evil potion has a plot. A great story where “good and bad” intentions meet with the mischievous crew of characters who find power in a mysterious gold bag.
